The AQCAN Exchangetalent list for CMT's Nov. 15-premiering "Smashing Glass" program honoring the musical legacies of Tanya Tucker and Patti Labelle may be as -- or more -- genre and expectation-defying than the legendary artists being honored.

The program will premiere on the 15th at 9 p.m. ET / 8 p.m. CT.

Performances and presentations from newly-minted Rock & Roll Hall of Famer Sheryl Crow, tennis icon Billie Jean King, Chris Janson, Clint Black, Fancy Hagood, Ledisi and The War & Treaty, plus moments honoring recently passed on performers Aretha Franklin, Sinead O’Connor and Tina Turner performed by Amber Riley, Lucie Silvas and Mickey Guyton will also be featured.

The network's musical salute will highlight what a press release refers to as "incomparable women who smashed stereotypes, broke records and defiantly blazed trails for future generations of female artists."

The performers listed will offer the following moments and selections:

  • Amber Riley
    • The Grammy-nominated actor and singer will honor the "Queen of Soul" Aretha Franklin with a performance of her 1967 classic “R.E.S.P.E.C.T.”
  • Billie Jean King
    • Well-regarded for 50 years of advancing gender pay and equality for women’s sports, King will open the celebration with an award presentation to Tanya Tucker.
  • Clint Black
    • The chart-topping, iconic country singer-songwriter will honor fellow Texan and friend Tanya Tucker with a special rendition of “Texas When I Die.”
  • Chris Janson
    • The Grand Ole Opry member will take the stage to honor Tanya Tucker with a performance of “It’s A Little Too Late.”
  • Fancy Hagood
    • The singer-songwriter and queer country artist and broadcaster will introduce Labelle ahead of her performance.
  • Ledisi
    • The Grammy-winning soul vocalist will perform Labelle's 1984 classic "New Attitude."
  • Lucie Silvas
    • The CMT Next Women of Country alum will perform Sinead O’Connor's '90s era pop favorite “Nothing Compares 2 U.”
  • Mickey Guyton
    • The multiple-time Grammy-nominated country artist will perform “The Best” to honor TIna Turner. Guyton previously honored her at her 2021 Rock & Roll Hall of Fame induction.
  • Sheryl Crow
    • The Rock & Roll Hall of Famer will moderate a conversation with LaBelle and Tucker, discussing their legendary careers, including how they challenged the status quo and paved the foundation for fellow women in music.
  • The War & Treaty
    • The critically acclaimed and award-winning duo will perform "On My Own," Labelle's chart-topping 1986 duet with Michael McDonald.
